Have you ever been excited to go away and then get a little homesick?

I love going away on vacation.  I enjoy sitting around the pool, sipping a cold beverage and smelling the salt air.
We usually get a little fishing in and then take to a restaurant to cook our catch - they do that for you in Mexico.

By the end of the week, I must admit that I do start missing some of my favorite restaurants back home. 

Does that ever happen to you?

My favorites in the Ocean City, MD area are Micky Fins which is located in the Ocean City Fishing Center Marina.  My next top choice is the private club we belong to across from the Old Ocean City Fishing Marina called the Marlin Club.

Both of these restaurants offer awesome food and seafood is my favorite living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and on the water all my life.

Another of my old favorites is the Marlin Moon.  They offer a wonderful shrimp appetizer called Mom's Shrimp - oh so good.  They closed a while back for 9 years and it was devastating, but they are back open again at 33rd St in the Double Tree.  That is where I plan to go this year for my 31st Anniversary Dinner.
