In October 2002, I relocated to Ocean Pines, MD from Pasadena, Maryland with my husband Doug after spending countless summers in Ocean City, Maryland.  It was one of the best decisions we ever made.  Being near the ocean, beach, boating, fishing and all the great activities the shore lifestyle has to offer is “After All What It’s All About”. I grew up around the construction business and in April 2001 after relocating to Ocean Pines I decided to became a REALTOR® and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Top Team in the area to learn everything I needed to know to get my real estate career started. In 2008 I received my Associate Broker’s license to become the Sales Manager of local Broker in Ocean Pines before becoming the Branch Manager of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty in April 2015.  During my time as Branch Manager, I have grown our Ocean Pines office from 26 to 44 agents and we are the No. 1 Broker in Ocean Pines, and are now one of the top brokers selling more properties in Worcester County than other area brokers. I am proud to have helped my clients and sales associates through a variety of economic situations and changes in the Ocean City housing market – from housing booms, real estate declines and market adjustments. In April of 2021 I was promoted to Regional Vice President of the Coastal Region for the Ocean City, Ocean City West and Ocean Pines Offices with 80+/- agents and 5 staff serving the Maryland Shore and Delaware markets. In December 2016, I became the Delaware Broker of Record for our brokerage. BACKGROUND: Before becoming a REALTOR®, I worked for a major financial institution for 20 years and held many positions from customer service, banking center manager, sales manager to project manager. This past experience gives me a thorough understanding of the lending and financial processes.  It gives me pleasure to provide my clients and associates with the highest level of customer service to make the real estate transaction as smooth as possible from the initial search through settlement.  ACCREDITATIONS/AWARDS/DESIGNATIONS: Since getting into the real estate business, I have earned my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations, Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR), Certified Real Estate Team Specialist (C-RETS) and Performance Management Network (PMN) designations through additional education and training courses. I quickly learned that establishing a solid network of industry professionals was going to help serve my clients best, so I joined the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 2001 which connects me with more than 16,000 real estate professionals across the country.  WCR is the twelfth largest women’s organization in the country as well.  After becoming involved on a local level, I found that it helped me get to know other area REALTORS® on a more personal level, which helps make transactions go smoother. Women’s Council is all about developing leaders and I have taken advantage of what they had to offer by becoming a local chapter officer since 2003.  I was the 2012/2013 Governor for the Maryland State Chapter, served on the local Coastal Association of REALTORS® as a Board of Director, and have served on both State and National Association of REALTORS® Committees. “Being involved in these organizations allows me to grow both personally and professionally.”  In August of 2012, I was individually awarded the 2012 REALTOR® of the Year Award from the Coastal Association of REALTORS® for my involvement in the real estate industry.  I am especially proud of the receiving the 2011 Large State Chapter of the Year Award for Chapter Excellence from the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® for chapters across the country during her term as State Chapter President.The pinnacle moment to date was receiving the 2019 President's Award from PenFed Realty for my leadership skills as Branch Manager of the Ocean Pines Office for exceeding all goals, creating an atmosphere or collaboration and camaraderie among our agents, and being the No. 1 Office in the Mid-Atlantic Region for Units Sold, and referrals to PenFed Credit Union Membership, Mortgage and Title.   I have built my business through referrals from friends and past clients based on my reputation.  I hope to earn your trust as well.
